12月18日には「未来の教育とユネスコ」をテーマとした若者中心の交流会を開催し，東北大学の学生10名に加え，宮城第一高校の生徒10名の参加を得ました。UNESCOバンコク事務所のDr. Libing Wang氏による話題提供とファシリテーションの下，参加者は「未来の教育とユネスコの役割」と「国際機関でのキャリア形成」という2つのテーマについて討論しました。大学生からは「専門家との対面交流から，未来の教育とユネスコの役割に対する理解を深めることができた。」という感想を得ました。高校生からは「Wang先生には私の質問を丁寧に理解しようとしていただき，心に響くアドバイスも頂戴した。包摂的教育というキーワードが私の心に残った。」「早期出産のために教育を受けられない女性へのユネスコの支援について，Wang先生に直接質問をすることができ，詳しく答えていただいた。大学生の皆さんの流暢な英語に触れたことも収穫だった。これからも学びを継続していきたい。」という感想を得ました。
On December 18, a youth-centered exchange meeting under the theme of "Future Education and UNESCO" was held with the participation of 10 students from Tohoku University and 10 students from Miyagi Daiichi High School. Dr. Libing Wang provided us two themes: "Education for the Future and the Role of UNESCO" and "Career Development in International Organizations" for discussion. The university students commented, "I was able to deepen my understanding of future education and UNESCO's role through face-to-face exchanges with experts. The high school students commented, "Dr. Wang gave me the opportunity to learn more about UNESCO's role in future education. A high school student commented, "Professor Wang tried to understand my questions carefully and gave me some thoughtful advice. The key phrase "inclusive education" has stayed with me." I was able to ask Dr. Wang directly about UNESCO's support for women who cannot access education due to early childbirth, and she answered my questions in detail. I also benefited from being exposed to the fluent English of the university students. I would like to continue learning from them. This is the first time that we have received such feedback.
