It is very exciting to share the following two articles which are published in the co-edited book titled Education and Migration in an Asian Context published on April 21, 2021. I am very pleased to work with Dr. Francis Peddie on this book project. Moreover, it was a great pleasure to work with friends and colleagues at the Graduate School of International Development, Nagoya University. The first article gives a general review of the global policies and practices regarding migration and education. In the second article, I provided a case study of how to accommodate educational needs for left-behind children in small rural schools in rural China. The paper addresses the importance to provide quality education for left-behind children through a whole-community approach!
