Between Sept.15 and 22, we conducted fieldwork in Chengdu with collaboration from local education committee, Chengdu University, local schools and private tutoring institutes.
Participants of the fieldwork visited primary schools, junior high schools and high schools to explore competition, equality and educational technology at school level. They also got opportunities to visit private tutoring institutes and had communication with managers, teachers and parents. We also spent one afternoon with students of Chengdu University to know their understanding and experience in schooling and Gaokao.
