I was very pleased to join a discussion on future of rural education, which was hosted by UNESCO INRULED on Jan.19, 2022. Panelists reviewed their discussions on rural education from global and local contexts, gender equality, ICT education, lifelong learning, and teacher education. Towards future of rural education, we need to (re)construct a wider/a more comprehensive network of stakeholders and effectively balance nature and technology to rebuild rural education. More importantly, how to integrate rural and urban education into one development plan/development framework is a key to the future of rural education in 2050 and beyond.
